Say, is every cut on this album fragmented and abrubtly ending, or is that just my download?

Just got the RSD LP and it definitely does NOT have all the abrupt track endings

Yeah, that's how my copy is too but I can't imagine that is how the original was. It's too bad.

What happens when you put a bunch of hippies with no musical experience in a room full of untuned instruments and some recording gear? Here's an example. The Warner Bros. Album was a legend among Residents fans, supposedly their debut audition submission to Hal Halverstadt. On hearing the results, one has to wonder about that story. Nobody knew if the tape really existed until it was leaked later. By whom? there's questions about that even, I have seen a picture of one of the members of Renaldo & the Loaf holding the tape's box. It's truly for fans only, and even then only those who are serious pre-digital Residents fanatics. That said, there's a brief glimpse or two of things to come, and pieces that deserved more serious treatment later: Oh Mommy Oh Daddy and Baby Skeletons and Dogs would have fit just fine on later releases.
