Album

Super Black Market Clash is a 1993 compilation album released by the English punk rock band The Clash. It contains B-sides and rare tracks not available on the group's regular studio albums. The album is an expanded repackaging of the 1980 release Black Market Clash, which was a 10-inch EP, containing 9 songs. The man in the foreground of the front cover art is Don Letts, who worked with The Clash on several projects and later was a founding member of Big Audio Dynamite. Super Black Market Clash. An expanded version of the Black Market Clash EP, Super Black Market Clash adds assorted singles and remixes to the original recording but actually omits several that were on the original EP Capital Radio One, Cheat, Bank Robber, and Armagideon Time. A couple of tracks aren't that interesting, but the majority of the disc is splendid, featuring some of the band's best but unfortunately overlooked tracks, including The Prisoner, Gates of the West, and Capital Radio. The Original version of bankrobberrobber dub from the record version of black market clash. this is not the super black market clash version. By the way Black Market Clash is a compilation album collecting ep and b-side tracks that were previously unreleased on CD. It was designed to replace the America-only album Black Market Clash, but there are still tracks absent from that album on this release. Listen 2:44. Jail Guitar Doors 3:05. City of the Dead 2:24. Super Black Market Clash is exactly what a B-sides album should be: a handful of gems 1977, Groovy Times, Pressure Drop, some experimentation Justice TonightKick it Over, Radio Clash, but ultimately uneven. I have been put on the record as saying that a B-sides album isn't worth anything if it isn't uneven well, on the record because I just wrote it now. Super Black Market Clash is just the fix for those of you who have already bought the first three CDs which I recommend doing immediately if you haven't already. It's a great career spanning picture of the most eclectic punk band. Read more. 1st release on 'Black Market Clash' 10 record USA October 1980.
