Album

Lactavent Album is a garage sale of curiosities both wonderful and inconsistent. The material here serves as a sort of initiation into the electronic brat pack of early Bogdan Raczynski, Cylob, µ-Ziq, and grinning godfather Aphex Twin. Of the 22 manic tracks clustered together here, a half-dozen of them simply beep and sizzle like vintage video game sound effects in key, which is not to call them songs. Ovuca Lactavent Outtakes. Etichetta: Not On Label Ovuca Self-released none. Formato: 19 File, MP3, 128 kbps. However, shortly after its release, Ovuca made these outtakes available for free to anyone who wanted to download them. In a true reversal of fortune, these outtakes on the whole far exceed the quality of his entire first record, and most of his second. The songs have a classic rephlex vibe, with various manipulated break beats colliding with simple, yet touching melodies. Much of the Ovuca output was plagued by a tendency to have way too much filler on the albums, some of it so bad you wonder how you could have possibly paid money for it. Lactavent Outtakes. Disc IDs. Rare
For a time, Ovuca was revered as the next big thing out on rephlex. His astrobotnia alias was even at the center of some internet rumor mills as being a side project of Richard jams. however, the potential of this artist was not as evident on his first outing, lacavent, which to this day, other than the last track, sounds like a bunch of throwaway music, and I certainly consider the 30 bucks I spent to get the disc a throwaway. However, shortly after its release, Ovuca made these outtakes available for free to anyone who wanted to download them. In a true reversal of fortune, these "outtakes" on the whole far exceed the quality of his entire first record, and most of his second. The songs have a classic rephlex vibe, with various manipulated break beats colliding with simple, yet touching melodies.

Much of the Ovuca output was plagued by a tendency to have way too much filler on the albums, some of it so bad; you wonder how you could have possibly paid money for it. He did redeem himself by releasing some focused, tighter records under the astrobotnia moniker. Since these tracks in particular are free, if you can still track them down someplace, I would recommend you do so, especially if you like the rephlex records sound of old.
