Mysteriously, although the session was taped in December 1955, EMI didn't release the recording until 1976 on a now rare double LP with photo booklet. I haven't been able to find out who made the recording but it does Not sound like a bootleg or private recording so I have to assume that this was done by EMI engineers. One reason why EMI might have sat on it was the release of another live concert LP, Amalia a L'Olympia Paris issued a year later. Comparing the two LPs is.
